Hidden Place Commission

Myself and Mark Cameron were shortlisted for the Hidden Place Commission in our hometown of Burnley.
Hiddenplace is a showcase of visual, performing, and new media arts, a series of temporary commissions for new creative work in a range of media, an animation programme for hidden, forgotten or disused spaces in Burnley town centre.

Our idea reanimated the old 1930s disused cinema & theatre in the heart of the town and reviving the glorious days of when Burnley was a thriving mill town.
We were unsuccessful due to curatorship issues of the space also housing another artwork. It was a great chance to research a forgotten part of my town.
